Are you new to the church? If so, you are very welcome!
We are a friendly village church made up of people from all different ages and backgrounds. We love to see new people and are confident that you will feel right at home with us. Our Sunday mornings begin with a warm welcome and an invitation to join us for coffee after the service.
January 2021 Update to Sunday services during COVID-19 lockdown
Owing to the current levels of Coronavirus and nationwide lockdown, the CamVillages churches are only meeting together via Zoom at 10am each Sunday until further notice. On the 3rd Sunday of the month, iChurch (the all-age family service from Great Chesterford) will be held by Zoom where possible. There are also services from St Mary’s, Saffron Walden which are broadcast via YouTube which you are welcome to watch. Please see our "This Week" page to find out more details about current events.
Our normal pattern of services is as follows:
The church meets most Sundays at 11.00am for our Sunday Service. On the first Sunday, we have a service of Morning Prayer and Holy Communion is shared is on the second and fourth Sunday.
iChurch at 9.30am on the third Sunday of every month
We have our monthly iChurch service on the third Sunday of each month at the slightly different time of 9.30am. Join us for breakfast and fun for all ages!
We have a fantastic programme for the children at the church:
Children's work is available for all children and the young at heart on the second and fourth Sunday.
Children stay with their parents at the start of the service as we worship together for the first part of the morning. Someone will announce when the children need to go to the Church Room. You are free to join your child if you wish.
After the main service finishes there will an be opportunity for fellowship. There is tea, coffee, and biscuits served in the church after all our Holy Communion services.
